\n1. What is the medicine Septolete total limon i zova and what is it intended for
\nThe drug Septolete total limon i zova contains the active substances cetylpyridinium chloride and benzydamine hydrochloride.
\nCetylpyridinium belongs to the group of antiseptics, while benzydamine acts as an anti-inflammatory (prevents inflammation) and
\nrelieves pain.
\nSeptolete total lemon and zova lozenges are used to relieve the symptoms of inflammation and pain:
\n- for irritation in the throat, mouth and gums,
\n- in case of inflammation of the gums and pharynx
\nThe drug Septolete total lemon and zova is intended for use in adults, adolescents and children over the age of 6
\nyear.
\nIf you do not get better or your symptoms worsen after 3 days, you must contact your doctor.
\n2. What you should know before you take the medicine Septolete total limon i zova
\nYou must not take the drug Septolete total limon i zova:
\n- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to cetylpyridinium chloride, benzydamine chloride, or to any auxiliary
\nthe substance of the drug Septolete total lemon and zova (listed in section 6).
\nThe drug Septolete total limon i zova must not be used in children under 6 years of age.
\nIf you are not sure if any of the above applies to you, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first
\nbefore you start taking the medicine Septolete total lemon and zova.
\nWarnings and precautions
\nTalk to your doctor or pharmacist before using Septolete total lemon and zova lozenges.
\nIf the condition does not improve or worsens after 3 days, contact your doctor.
\nApplication of topical preparations, especially over a long period of time, can lead to reactions
\nhypersensitivity. In this case, the treatment must be stopped immediately.
\nSeptolete total lemon and zova must not be used in combination with anionic compounds, such as
\nwhich are found in toothpastes. Therefore, it is not recommended to use this medicine immediately before or after
\nbrushing teeth.
\nIn particular, take care of:
\n- If you are allergic to salicylates (eg acetylsalicylic acid and salicylic acid) or other medicines
\nagainst inflammation and pain called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). The use of these
\ndrugs are not advised.
\n- If you have or have ever had bronchial asthma. In this case, caution is necessary.
\nDo not use the medicine for more than 7 days.
\nIf you are not sure if any of the above applies to you, talk to your doctor or pharmacist first
\nbefore you start taking the medicine Septolete total lemon and zova.
\nOther medicines and medicine Septolete total lemon and zova
\nInform your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or may take any
\nwhat other medicines.
\nAvoid simultaneous application of other antiseptics.

\nTaking the medicine Septolete total lemon and zova with food and drinks
\nDo not take lozenges Septolete total lemon and zova together with milk, because milk reduces their effectiveness.
\nDo not take the medicine Septolete total lemon and zova before or during a meal. Do not eat or drink for at least 1 hour
\nafter taking lozenges.
\nPregnancy and breastfeeding
\nIf you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you are pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, contact your doctor or
\npharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
\nThe use of Septolete total limon i zova is not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
\nDriving vehicles and operating machines
\nSeptolete total lemon and zova lozenges have no or negligible influence on motor control ability
\nvehicles or operating machinery.
\nThe drug Septolete total limon i zova contains isomalt (E953), butylhydroxyanisole (E320), sodium benzoate
\n(E211) and propylene glycol
\nIn case of intolerance to certain sugars, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
\nButylhydroxyanisole (E320) may cause local skin reactions (e.g. contact dermatitis), or irritation
\neyes and mucous membranes.
\nSodium benzoate (E211) is a mild irritant to the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
\nPropylene glycol may cause skin irritation.
\n3. How to take the drug Septolete total limon i zova
\nAlways take this medicine exactly as stated in this leaflet or as explained to you by your doctor
\ndoctor, or pharmacist. If you are not sure, check with your doctor or pharmacist.
\nAdults and children over 12 years old
\nThe recommended dose is 3-4 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours.
\nChildren aged 6 to 12 years
\nThe recommended dose is 3 lozenges per day. The lozenge should be dissolved slowly in the mouth every 3 to 6 hours.
\nChildren under 6 years old
\nThe medicine Septolete total limon i zova must not be given to children under 6 years of age.
\nDo not exceed the recommended dose.
\nDo not take Septolete total lemon and zova lozenges immediately before a meal.
\nDo not eat or drink for at least one hour after taking the medicine.
\nIn order to achieve an optimal effect, it is not recommended to use this medicine immediately before or after washing
\nteeth.
\nIf the condition does not improve or worsens after 3 days, contact your doctor.
\nDo not use Septolete total lemon and zova for more than 7 days.
\nIf you have taken more Septolete total limon i zova than you should
\nIn case of accidental overdose, immediately talk to a doctor or go to the nearest health center
\ninstitution.
\nIf you forgot to take the medicine Septolete total lemon i call
\n4 out of 5
\nDo not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
\nIf you have any further questions about taking this medicine, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
\n4. Possible side effects
\nLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them.
\npatients taking this medicine.
\nAdverse effects are classified according to the frequency of occurrence in the following categories:
\nRare side effects (may occur in up to 1 in 1000 patients taking the medicine):
\n- allergic reactions (hypersensitivity reactions),
\n\u2013 hives (urticaria), increased sensitivity of the skin to sunlight caused by the drug (photosensitivity),
\n- difficulty breathing due to sudden narrowing of the airways in the lungs (bronchospasm).
\nVery rare side effects (may occur in up to 1 in 10,000 patients taking the drug):
\n- local irritation of the oral cavity, burning sensation in the oral cavity.
\nFrequency not known (cannot be estimated from the available data):
\n- burning sensation on the mucous membrane of the mouth, loss of sensation (anesthesia) on the mucous membrane of the mouth.
\nThese side effects are usually transient. However, if they occur, contact your doctor or
\npharmacist.
\nIf you follow the instructions given in the Medication Guide, you will reduce the risk of side effects.

\nIf you experience any unwanted reaction, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist.

\n5. How to store the medicine Septolete total lemon and zova
\nKeep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
\nYou must not use the drug Septolete total lemon i zova after the expiration date indicated on the outer label
\ninner packaging after "Valid until:". The expiration date refers to the last day of the above
\nof the month.
\nThe drug does not require special temperature storage conditions.
\nStore in original packaging in order to protect from light.
\nUnusable medicines are handed over to the pharmacy where the notice that they are to be collected is displayed in that pharmacy
\nunusable medicines from citizens. Unusable medicines must not be thrown into the sewer or together with
\ncommunal waste. These measures will help protect the environment.

\n6. Contents of the package and other information
\nWhat does Septolete total lemon and zova contain
\nThe active substances are cetylpyridinium chloride and benzydamine hydrochloride.
\nOne lozenge contains 1 mg of cetylpyridinium chloride, anhydrous (as cetylpyridinium chloride,
\nmonohydrate) and 3 mg of benzydamine hydrochloride.
\nAuxiliary substances are: peppermint essential oil; levomenthol; sucralose (E955); citric acid, anhydrous
\n(E330); isomalt (type M) (E953); lemon flavor (butylhydroxyanisole (E320); lemon terpenes; lemon oil,
\ncold pressed; other aromatic substances); the aroma of the flower is called (propylene glycol (E1520); glycerol triacetate
\n(E1518); aromatic substances); color Curcumin (E100) (contains sodium benzoate (E211)) and color
\nChlorophyllin Copper Complex (E141) (contains propylene glycol (E1520)).
\nWhat does the medicine Septolete total lemon look like and the contents of the package
\nRound lozenges with beveled edges, rough surface, light green to green in color. The presence of whites is possible
\nspots, uneven color, air bubbles in the sweet, hard mass and small sharp edges. Lozenge diameter: 18.0
\nmm \u2013 19.0 mm, thickness: 7.0 mm \u2013 8.0 mm.
\nThe inner packaging is a blister (PVC\/PE\/PVDC\/\/Al) with 8 lozenges.
\nThe outer packaging is a collapsible cardboard box containing:
\n\u2013 one blister (8 lozenges in total), or
\n- two blisters (16 lozenges in total), or
\n\u2013 three blisters (24 lozenges in total), or
\n- four blisters (32 lozenges in total) and instructions for the medicine.
