It contains a complex of anthraquinone derivatives consisting of: dianthrone glycosides (senoside A, B, C), anthrone glycosides, anthraquinone glycosides, diglycosides and free anthraquinones. In addition, it contains flavonoids, mucilage, tannins, resins, minerals, and mostly calcium oxalate.
Acting: Acts as a laxative on the large intestine. In larger doses, it causes spasms. Ripe senna pods do not contain resins and therefore do not cause stomach cramps.
Composition:
Senna leaf 100%.

Method of application:
Pour two teaspoons of tea (2.5 g) with 2 dl of cold water, leave covered for 5-6 hours and strain.
Drink once a day as needed, preferably in the evening, freshly prepared tea. Not recommended during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
