Colief drops for babies, allow babies with transient deficiency of the enzyme lactase to take milk normally while facilitating digestion and reducing the discomfort associated with intestinal spasms.
Operation:
Colief, drops for babies contain the enzyme lactase, which is normally synthesized in the body. When the drops are added to milk, the enzyme lactase breaks down the lactose and makes the milk easier to digest. Colief, baby drops allow babies with a transient deficiency of the lactase enzyme to use "regular milk", either breast milk or milk formula, without the need to use soy-based milk, or "lactose-free" milk and allow mothers to continue breastfeeding as long as possible.
Composition (in one drop):
lactase 0.0025g
Dosage and method of use:
4 drops are added to milk/milk formula before feeding. The recommended dose of 4 drops can be given at once or in two divided doses.
Packaging: 15ml = 360 drops = 90 feedings/meals
